Credit Analyst

The Credit Analyst responsibilities will include spreading and analyzing business and personal financial statements/tax returns, analyzing cash flows, preparing credit presentations and annual reviews, real estate appraisal review/property evaluation for 1-4 family and commercial properties,  and providing support to the lending and risk management functions. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have ability to work independently.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

Required: Associates degree in finance, accounting, or related field and three to five years credit analysis or banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and high level of business professionalism, along with proficient computer skills with various software programs and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Confidentiality is also required, along with excellent time management skills.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance or related field and five to seven years of credit analyst experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience with Phoenix bank core system a plus. Candidate must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and high level of business professionalism, along with highly proficient computer skills with various software programs and Microsoft Office, particularily Excel. Confidentiality is also required, along with excellent time management skills.

Loan Assistant

The Loan Assistant will assist with preparing loan documents for closing of consumer loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding in a timely and professional manner while providing a high level of customer service.  This position will also assist with loan maintenance, loan application updates, training, and updating procedures.

Primary Functions:

  • Provide loan-processing support for the Loan Department. This will involve underwriting support, accurate documentation preparation and maintenance.
  • Review loan applications and verify data to ensure completeness and accuracy of applications.
  • Request any required documents from customers.
  • Prepare closing packets, disburse, and finalize loan.
  • Processes loan recording, filing and origination fees to general ledger accounts.
  • Process new loans and complete loan worksheets for the Loan Officers, verifying all new loans for accuracy.  Also assist with the processing of loan payments and advances for the Loan Department.
  • Enter information into the loan tickler system regarding future action needed such as obtaining additional documentation, financial statements, etc.
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and concerns and handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with bank policies and procedures

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

Required: High School diploma or equivalent with one-two years of customer service or loan administrative/processing experience. Candidate must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and high level of business professionalism, along with proficient computer skills with various software programs and Microsoft Office. Confidentiality is also required, along with excellent time management skills.

Preferred: Associate’s degree in business, finance or accounting or related field and four to six years of loan experience with consumer lending and bank core systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
