Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs a wide variety of banking and customer service-related duties. A CSR greets our customers, makes them feel welcome in the lobby or over the phone and assists customers with their day-to-day banking needs including deposits, cashing checks, and loan payments. We’re looking for an individual who:

  • Wants to be a part of an amazing team!
  • Enjoys creating an excellent customer experience while working with numbers and people.
  • Has a high-level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communicates professionally in person, as well as through emails and reports.
  • Has the ability to work a flexible work schedule with varying hours between 8am-6pm Monday – Friday and some Saturdays from 8am-12pm depending on department needs.
  • Gets excited about volunteering in our communities!

Duties include:

  • Working with a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Assisting with money orders, cashier checks, and prepaid cards.
  • Assisting customers with account inquiries.
  • Educating customers on our products and services.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; no experience required. (Part-time high school students are encouraged to apply for after-school and summer hour opportunities!)

Preferred: Associates degree in accounting, business, or related field and one to two years of banking, administrative, or clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Loan Assistant

The Loan Assistant will assist with preparing loan documents for closing of consumer loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding in a timely and professional manner while providing a high level of customer service.

Duties include:

  • Provide loan processing support for the Loan department. This will involve underwriting support, accurate documentation preparation and maintenance.
  • Maintain imaging and indexing standards.
  • Support audits and exams.
  • Process advances.
  • Maintain collateral records.
  • Request any required documents from customers.
  • Maintain loan tickler system regarding insurance, financials, UCCs, etc.
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and concerns and handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

Required: High School diploma or equivalent with one-two years of customer service or loan administrative/processing experience. Candidate must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and high level of business professionalism, along with proficient computer skills with various software programs and Microsoft Office. Confidentiality is also required, along with excellent time management skills.

Preferred: Associate’s degree in business, finance or accounting or related field and two to four years of loan experience with consumer lending and bank core systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
